Who Are We?

WiseUpAtWork was founded by Mike Healy after he served as Human Resources director and VP Human Resources in several oil and gas and engineering services companies. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a BA in Public Administration and an MBA from Glasgow University.

WiseUpAtWork has a simple philosophy which is to help managers and employees understand and embrace workplace challenges, and to help them make the most of the opportunities and benefits the workplace offers.

Our belief is that knowledgeable and engaged employees are stimulated to contribute to their organisation and their own career development.

WiseUpAtWork researches academic theory from top business schools and best practice in large organisations, but blends that research with direct experience of the practical issues faced by managers and frontline employees, to produce solutions that work for them.
