Performance Management

Performance management is much more than waiting for employees to complete forms. It is a proactive exercise which seeks improvement at individual, team, service, corporate or community level. Better performance management should lead to improved services to end users or increased service levels or value for money or better use of limited resources.

We work with clients managers and employees to help them:

  1. Clarify what aims, objectives, priorities and targets need to be in place and communicate these to line managers and employees.
  2. Develop improvement, action or service plans which identify resources and risks.
  3. Agree performance measures and identify named individuals with accountability for achieving performance.
  4. Help staff to provide higher levels of commitment and feel more involved through good leadership and follow up on ideas, suggestions, feedback and criticism.
  5. Report progress against aims, objectives, priorities and targets

In summary, we help clients plan, do, review and revise. We do this through working with both managers and employees in a collaborative setting
